Types and Eligibilty

Full Membership

may be granted to applicants registered as a specialist periodontist with either Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or the New Zealand Dental Council. Read More

Full Membership - First Year Graduate

may be granted to a registered Dentist for the first year after completing their graduate training programme in Periodontics. This is offered for one year only to existing Student Members. Read More

Student Membership

may be granted to a registered Dentist who is enrolled in a graduate training programme in Periodontics at an institution approved by Council. Read More

Retired Membership

may be granted to an existing Full Member whom the Council considers in it's sole discretion has retired from active Periodontal practice Read More

International Membership

may be granted to persons residing outside Australia and New Zealand who would otherwise satisfy the requirements for Full Membership. Read More

Life Membership (Nominated & Member Voted)

may be awarded by the Academy by resolution in General Meeting to any person who has rendered long or outstanding service to the Academy. Read More

Honorary Membership (Nominated & Member Voted)

may be awarded by the Academy by resolution in General Meeting to any person who has rendered long or outstanding service to Periodontics Read More
